Every January, resolutions are made with conviction, only to be dropped like a hot akara sometime before February as unattainable, or just plain boring. All through last year, we watched our celebrities and critiqued their behaviour. Maybe we shouldn’t have. Maybe we should let them make their own mistakes. Or maybe we should assess celebrity behaviour in 2014 and determine which celebrities could use some suggestions for their New Year’s Resolutions to make 2015 a great year. And that’s just what we’ve done. So Don Jazzy, Cossy, Omosexy and others, listen up.

Kanye West no longer interested in having sex with his wife?

Anyway, back to the subject matter, there are reports (probably untrue) that Kanye has lost interest in sexing his wife on a regular basis & Kim has ordered him into sex therapy

He’s so focused on his work that he’s barely spending any time with her,” said a family source. “And when they are together all he wants to do is sleep or play with North. “Rejected Kim, whose stress about her troubled marriage has prompted a serious psoriasis flare-up, signed them up for therapy classes to get the spark back into their relationship.”

NTA yanks off Funmi Iyanda's "Change A Life programme" while running live

 

So yesterday January 1st, was media personality Funmi Iyanda's annual "Change in Life" TV special, an edition where she honoured Lagos state governor Babatunde Fashola in appreciation for his support for the foundation over for the past 8 years. The show was supposed to air live on NTA but the station only showed it for some time and later yanked it off. Annoying thing for the host and guests was that while on set they thought they were live on air not knowing they'd already been yanked off. NTA later said the programme was yanked off due to internal Communication Error. See the tweets after the cut...

A child kidnapper identified as Bola Adeshina (pictured above) has been arrested by the Abuja Police command for kidnapping a 5 year boy identified as Ahmed from Sagamu, Ogun state. According to Punch, 31 year old Adeshina kidnapped the little boy and was on his way to Kaduna to deliver him when he was arrested at the Utako motor park in Abuja following suspicious movement.

The Commissioner of Police for the FCT, Wilson Inalegwu, while confirming the arrest, said Ahmed has been reunited with his family in Ogun State while Bola will be charged to court accordingly. “The suspect will be arraigned in court as soon as sitting resumes. Meanwhile, the child has been reunited with his parents" he said.

Man decapitates mother with axe on New Year’s Eve

 

Christian Gomez, 23, (pictured left) has been arrested for decapitating his own mother's head with an axe on New Year's eve at her home in Tampa because she asked him to put some boxes away, Florida police say.

His brother called police to report the gruesome scene and when the police arrived, they discovered the headless body of 48 year old Maria Suarez-Cassagne (pictured right) near some garbage cans. Christian, who is said to be schizophrenic and has a history of mental illness, had fled in a bicycle before the police arrived but was arrested a few blocks away from the home.

When arrested, Florida police claim Christian admitted to killing his mother, saying he had been plotting his mother's murder for two days because he was tired of her nagging. He'd hit his mother over the head with the axe, then cut her head off her in the garage and then dragged the body to the garbage outside the home.

I wasn't going to blog today...hehe...but my girl just got engaged. Polo Avenue boss and daughter of billionaire businessman, John Obayuwana, Jennifer Obayuwana is engaged. The 33 year old mother of one, got engaged last night Dec. 31st to her boyfriend of 9 months, Peter Salah. Peter rented a room at Eko Signature last night, and asked Jennifer for her hand in marriage with rose petals and a canary yellow diamond ring.

34 year old snake handler, Jamie Guarino, filmed his 14 month old daughter, Alyssa, playing with their family pet, a 10 year old 13ft Burmese python called Nay-Nay. This Python is one of the five largest snakes in the world. The snake handler said he filmed the video with his baby girl at their home in Michigan to educate people about snakes and how harmless they can be. Someone should please come get this child. 7yr old girl walks away from plane crash in Kentucky; 4 others killed

 

 

Below is what Kentucky State Police posted on their Facebook page...
The Kentucky State Police are responding to a report of a plane crash near the area of KY 810 South in the Suwanee community of Lyon County At approximately 6:30 pm CST, a 911 call was received from a Lyon County resident. The caller told police that a 7-year-old female had walked to his home reporting that she had been involved in a plane crash. The juvenile was in distress and was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

See what a man did to his uncle after he found him raping his girlfriend

 

This is what happened to a South Carolina man after he was caught red-handed allegedly raping his nephew’s girlfriend in a bedroom at a home in Conway, South Carolina on Thursday January 1st.

The nephew, whose identity is being kept from the media, reportedly found 52-year-old William Mattson (pictured above) on top of his girlfriend and he responded by beating the heck out of him. You can see the result of the brutal beat down in the suspect’s mugshot.

The man then pushed his uncle out of the house and called police. Mattson was arrested but the nephew was not charged over the incident. The police said he was “acting in defense for the victim.”

The uncle is now facing charges related to the alleged sexual assault.

203 soldiers dismissed for allegedly asking for weapons to fight Boko haram

 

203 Nigerian soldiers have allegedly been dismissed by the Nigerian military over allegations of disobeying a direct order from their commanding officer to engage Boko Haram members and demanding for support equipment. The soldiers and their families are said to have been evicted from the barracks after a court martial that sat on December 24th night found them guilty of disobeying superior authority.
